Will of Ann Adams [Bequeathment of slaves]. To daughter Mary S. Hening: negro man Isaac, all furniture with the promise that she will take care of aged & faithful servant Betty; to granddaughter Mary M. Henning: negro girl Milly; to daughter frances Lane: the use of two negro slaves- Natt & Henry for her natural life, and at her death, Natt is to go to grandson Richard H. Lane and Henry to g to grandson Presley Carr Lane; to granddaughter Ann Susanna Lane, daughter of deceased daughter Nancy Lane, slave named Frederick who shall be held in trust for said Ann until she is 21 years old; to grandson William Francis Lane negro boy Eli alias William Eli who shall be held in trust for said William until he is 21 years old; slaves Frederick & Eli may be sold or hired out by the trustees if the estate needs money. | ||
